Picnic Area, Saint-Genix-sur-Guiers

Enjoy a relaxing break along the Guiers River. You’ll find benches and tables—some in the shade of the trees—for small groups and families, as well as a table accessible to people in wheelchairs.

The picnic area is accessible via a flat gravel path and features 1 large table for small groups, 2 picnic tables, and 1 wheelchair-accessible table located closest to the parking lot. Several benches complete the layout.
This area, which is available for your use, is equipped with a trash can for your waste: please remember to use it before you leave.
Located near the Glière parking lot, this picnic area is also ideally situated near the starting points for hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as the start of the bike path leading to Viarhôna. The communal and individual bike lockers located nearby provide a place to store bikes during your lunch break.
A bike service area (bike lockers, restrooms, bike racks, bike station, bench, etc.) is located on the campground side.
An electric car charging station is located in the parking lot of the nearby community hall.
